Citrix Captivates B2B Attendees
The B2B Breakfast on May 4th was conducted amidst colorful remnants of the Santa Barbara Fair and Expo, lending a carnival atmosphere to the monthly networking event. Fortunately, this did not prevent breakfast sponsors Marmalade Café and Zizzo's Coffee from serving their usual terrific buffet and piping hot java.
After the meal, Isaac Osborne of Motion Unlimited led attendees in a much-needed stretch break. Then Chamber President Kristen Amyx and Ambassador co-chairs Drew "Mr. Ramada" Wakefield and Michele Bischoff of Mary Kay Cosmetics welcomed new member Santa Barbara Travel Bureau, represented by Mike Truex, VP Corporate Business Development and Jennifer Coltrin, Manager, Leisure Business Development, who donated a much-appreciated $50 discount travel coupon to all guests.
Citrix Online's VP Strategic Communications Laura McCormick presented a fascinating PowerPoint about the technology company's diverse online collaboration tools, including the popular GoToMyPC® and GoToMeeting®, as well as newer products GoToTraining™, GoView® Beta and GoToMeeting for iPad. Whether a company is conducting meetings, webinars or training sessions, Citrix Online solutions can bring multiple locations together on the internet. This company is truly transforming the way we do business...and it's right here in Goleta!
For a special one-time opportunity, talented commercial photographer, Ambassador Lindsey Eltinge set up her mobile studio in the adjacent room to take business portraits at a discount for anyone who wanted a head shot before or after the meeting.
The next B2B Breakfast will be on Tuesday, June 1st, 7:00-9:00am. Be sure to pre-register online by noon the previous Friday, May 28th, for inclusion on the Hot Sheet.
